      Applies the customization to the SQL statement using the argument passed to the method.
      Parameters:
      stmt - the statement being customized
      arg - the argument passed to the method
      Throws:
      SQLException - will abort statement creation

      default void warm(ConfigRegistry config)
      Called after the customizer is instantiated but before any statement is available, to pre-initialize any configuration data structures.
      Parameters:
      config - the configuration registry to warm
